This honey is sourced by bees from different forest flowers, so, naturally they are abundant with medicinal properties.

Bees construct their hive between rocks, so they are also called as Rock Honey – Cave Honey or பாறை தேன் – குகை தேன்.

People who collect these honey, have special skills in climbing hill tops and collecting honey without spoiling or damaging the bee hive.

The honey is colored naturally dark. No preservating, flavour or color is added.
